This year, tickets will be sold exclusively online to limit contact, capacity, and have the ability to contact trace should the need arise. With over 100 acres, our guests will be able to social distance easily in the fresh outdoors. For more detailed information, please see our specific Covid-19 page.
What happens to my ticket if Sever's has to close due to weather?
All tickets purchased in 2020 that aren't used will automatically be valid anytime during the 2021 fall festival season. In addition, guests can transfer tickets to another day IF tickets are available. For how to transfer tickets, please visit Eventbrite here.
Will Sever's require masks?
We are following the state mandate that encourages guests to wear masks in outdoor spaces, but does not require them. Sever's staff will be required to wear masks.
Something has come up and I need to transfer my tickets to another day - how do I do this?
Guests can transfer tickets themselves through the Eventbrite page. On how to transfer tickets, please visit Eventbrite here. If you're unable to transfer your tickets this way for some reason, please request a refund via Eventbrite and the refund will be processed as an event credit. You'll then be able to use that event credit to choose a new day. Event credits never expire.
What? No corn pits in 2020?!
We ultimately decided that we could not operate some of our activities in a safe manner with social distancing and Covid-19 precautions in place. These attractions will be back in 2021 and look for other new attractions and activities this season!
What's included in my admission price?
A list of which festival activities are included & the prices of those which are not can be found on our activities page.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, no, due to our exotic petting zoo, camel rides, and pony rides. Service animals are allowed. By Minnesota Law, emotional support animals are not considered service animals.
Can we bring in food, beverages, or coolers?
No, unfortunately we do not allow outside food or coolers inside our grounds as we offer a wide variety of food vendors. We do not have the infrastructure on site for drinking fountains, so water bottles are allowed.
Where are you located?
We are located at 3121 150th Street West in Shakopee. This is directly off of Hwy 169 2 miles south of Hwy 169 & County Road 41. Please visit our contact page for exact directions.
Are you handicapped accessible and stroller friendly?
Yes, our grounds are grassy & flat. Our maze paths are 6-8 feet wide. We also have an ADA accessible Biff on site as well as a baby changing station.
Do you host groups, including birthday parties?
Typically, yes, but we've had to make some changes during the Covid-19 situation. Please visit our group information page for all of the details.
Do you allow re-entry?
Yes, your admission wrist band can be used for re-entry the same day.
Can you smoke on site?
Unfortunately, smoking, including e-cigs, are not allowed inside our festival grounds due to fire marshall regulations. We do allow re-entry & you can smoke in our parking lot.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard & Discover at our ticket booths. The majority, but not all, of our food vendors do also accept credit cards. However, the giant slide, the pony & camel rides, feed at Safari North Zoo, hay ride, & pumpkin blasters ONLY accept cash. We have an ATM on site.
How do season passes work?
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and having to limit capacity, we are not selling season passes in 2020. Traditionally, season passes can be purchased on site for $40 per person ages 4 & up. Season passes pay for themselves in just over 2 visits. If guests purchase a ticket & decide before they depart they'd like to purchase a season pass, that day's tickets can be used toward the season pass price. We will offer these in 2021 again.
Do you sell t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts?
Yes, we sell a variety of retail items on site including baseball hats, beanies, sweatshirts, among other items.
Do you sell wine and beer?
Yes, With A Twist is selling wine & beer on site at the festival.
How much time should I allow to spend at the festival?
On average, most of our guests spend 3-4 hours, though some people spend the entire day with us!
How much time does the corn maze take?
If guests complete the maze challenge, the corn maze takes about 30-40 minutes to complete. However, guests can easily go in & out & spend as little as 5 minutes if they'd like.
Why am I charged a fee when I purchase my online tickets?
We use a third party ticketing service, specifically Eventbrite, to sell online tickets. Their fee is $1 per ticket plus credit card processing of 2.5%. These funds are directly deposited to Eventbrite, not Sever's.
